Winter Parking Reminder
By-law 44-2022 regulates parking in Lucan Biddulph Township. The Township's parking regulations prohibit parking on any street between 3:00 am and 6:00 am between November 1st and April 30th. This is particularly important for winter snow removal.
Between May 1 and October 31, overnight street parking is available on any street where no parking restrictions exist.
Also, please don't forget to bring in your basketball and hockey nets from the edge of road and out of the way of snow plows. If you live on a rural road, check that your mailbox is securely attached to its post.
Downtown Parking
Reminder that a limit for on-street parking in the downtown of Lucan is now 3 hours between 7am to 7pm. The 3 hour zone is located between William Street & Frank Street. Extended duration parking is available at the municipal lot beside the Post Office, as well as the Town's side streets.
The purpose of the time limit is to allow turnover and accessibility for patrons of our local businesses.
